Ceremonials Tour. The Ceremonials Tour was the second concert tour by the English indie rock band Florence and the Machine. The tour included performances at music festivals because it is lead singer Florence Welch's favourite way to perform live. [1] Welch had originally planned to spend over a year touring for Ceremonials (their previous tour Florence + The Machine got its name from a private joke between Florence Welch and Isabella Summers. Once the name went public, it stuck, and they’ve been called Florence + The Machine ever since. Their first album, entitled Lungs was released in 2009, which sold over 100,000 copies in its first month.
